Metalco Recycling collects from, and supplies, the recycling industry with quality recyclable materials handled in an environmentally friendly manner. These recyclables range from paper (approximately 12 grades), plastic (approximately 20 grades), ferrous (approximately 50 grades) and non-ferrous metals (approximately 200 grades).
Consumers require that the commodities supplied be sorted, compacted or cut to size, free of foreign contaminants and generally packaged for ease of handling and consumption. These requirements vary per consumer, but are generally dictated by the product being produced, the size of the consumer’s premises and the size of their furnaces.
Metalco Recycling distinguishes itself by marketing services that consumers and suppliers alike are not accustomed to in the recycling industry. Suppliers will be offered collection vehicles with onboard weighing systems so that products are weighed on site and information is then confirmed by headoffice and processed for payment. Secondly suppliers will be offered 24 hour turnaround on collection requests, which will be booked and dispatched by a designated supplier liaison, who will be their one stop contact to assist throughout the process. Lastly, suppliers will be offered free use of Metalco’s containers in which to store their recyclables.
Consumers will be offered four hour turnaround on deliveries to assist with just in time methodology. metalco recycling will offer consumers the full range of recyclables categorized to international specifications or to consumer’s requirements if different from the norm.
Metalco Recycling’s products are categorized into four commodity groups and then once again divided within their groups into products and sub products.
